Speedball 2 lends itself well to the RGB/CRT combo. This is the MD port on my Sony Trinitron.

The MD JP Arcade Power sticks are so much better than what we got in the West, given both versions are micro switched. Even with all the various adapters that allow you to play with modern equipment, these are still great sticks.

I remember hooking this up to a PC monitor via VGA (the picture was B&W, lol), but seeing Sol Calibur running for the first time was one of those 🤯 moments. Sadly, I stupidly blew this up a few years back 😭.

Wrapped up True Mode (1CC), the TLB was a pain in the ass. Just need to make sure you have enough resources and are powered up to deal with its nonsense.

I love Black Bird. It's the closest we've gotten to a new Fantasy Zone in recent years. Returned to it last week to crack True Mode and it's been fun.

Shame about the issues with City Connection's R-Type Delta HD boosted release. 🤞🏿At least some of them get addressed. Such a great game.

Night Striker Gear 1CC (didn't unlock stage G on this run, not 100% sure on the conditions). ABEF seems to be a solid route. This was pure survival, so will aim to improve my score. Honestly, this has GOTY potential.
