My youth theater production of Into the Woods looked at "It Takes Two", a song about a married couple falling back in love with each other, and decided the thing it needed most was an unblinking nightmare cow staring directly into the abyss.
A middle school production of Into the Woods. Center are the Baker and Baker's wife, wearing traditional fairy tale clothes and acting for their lives. Behind them is an actor in a cow costume, the expression of which can only be described as "god is dead and we have killed him."
