My laptop PSU died, searched stash
(you know that big box of power supplies that you keep in case you might need one day)
Found one that produces the required 19V 45W but wrong connector, spliced cable from faulty PSU and we are back in business.

All was going well then clumsy me managed to rip the USB socket off my @pimoroni.com Pico Plus 2W 😭
Ordered replacement which I probably won't get now till Tuesday. I'll have to find something else to do till then.
Definitely not a happy bunny.

Just learning some more CircuitPython, handling json data. My 3D printer sends a lot of status info as a json string to my MQTT broker. Using a @pimoroni.com Pico plus 2W + Pico display 2.0 I am hoping to display status in pretty colours.

Just for fun I installed the klipper software on my @adafruit.com Macropad RP2040 and connected it to the raspberry pi running klipper on my 3D printer. A bit of tinkering with the config file and it works!! Display, encoder, neopixels, buttons.

Just finished upgrading my 3D printer with a magnetic heated bed. I decided to use a @prusa3d.com MK52 from Prusa as the size was just right. Now I need some good build plates, I tried a cheap one from Amazon but the surface bubbled up so I have some genuine Prusa ones on order from a UK supplier.
