Missed the deadline for the Bath Children's Novel Award and I feel so deflated...gotta push myself to enter more competitions! Over the next year, while I juggle multiple writing projects and query the hell out of this shortlist of agents!

Writing is such a long winded process when you finish the draft and edit and rewrite and edit again twenty times over until it's just good enough to shill to agents in the hopes of gaining representation and then maybe they'll get you a deal *sigh*
