But they would rather toe to the status quo by voting against or “not being involved” than actually sit & consider a PARTNER.

The truth is, they DO care about politics. Currently they aren’t directly impacted so they CAN ignore it/vote against progressive.

I was talking to a guy, FOR YEARS (the only reason we hadn’t dated/hooked up was distance) that I had a pretty deep emotional connection with. The death knell was him saying “I don’t really bother myself with politics rn.” Never spoke to him again. Instant 🚩no longer attracted.

It’s baffling to me. When I see that my actions/decisions have not led to a desired outcome, I think about WHY that is & adjust for my wanted outcome.

Yeah, my mechanic tried to be realistic with me & said “I wouldn’t drop this on an 18 yo car if you’re going to get something new in a couple years.”
