In Fantasy and SF Kristine Kathryn Rusch told of hearing a bookstore clerk having just sold a stack of Goosebumps novels complaining they were horrid because children learned nothing.

Rusch’s reply: “They’re learning the most important thing they could learn. They’re learning to love to read.”

I worked in a middle school. I was shocked at how many middle students couldn't read or read at a grade school level at best.

Y'all say you support diverse creatives but it's just words. I'm tired of your words.
