That’s fourty years ago.
Imagine the difference if we invested more back then instead of paying more to the fossil fuel companies that couldn’t care about the environment and are only now doing so, forced to because of the state of the environment.

This is something quite close to my own experience, when I was 9 I was forced to work for four years on the streets of the UK in child sexual exploitation & prostitution.
Today I’ve helped five children obtain their birth certificates so they can escape similar conditions.
