While It's not shown much so far, I can show off a little bit of it with the #Gronckle, where the ears are actually very tiny wings set before the neck. It's also the only one so far with a fused skull, and the addition of placodont like teeth for eating rocks. That's all I have so far!

Since the Hox Genes are much easier to replicate and modify for these dragons, things such as hexapod dragons are viable for development, such as the #HideousZippleback. In a similar vein, multi-headed dragons may be something possible for them as well with some shenanigans.

The Skulls are composed of 4 main parts, the cranium, the rostrum, the maxilla, and the dentary. Many dragon skulls are kinetic, however the range of kinetics can very, such as it is for the #MonstrousNightmare. Whose jaws are much less mobile than the Nadder above.

Figured I could make a post following the trend of sharing #HTTYD designs by sharing some of my little skull doodles of (most) the first film's species. For a TL;DR on the idea behind these, they're "sharks", but with the irreverence for Hox genes arthropods have. #art
First is the #DeadlyNadder.
