My opinion on replay: the refs get one opportunity to view each camera angle in real speed. If it's not obvious, then the play stands. It should be for egregious errors, not fractions of inches that need to be seen in ultra flow mo and spliced together with other angles.

Don't disagree that Schumer should go. But Democrats were never going to get anything on healthcare. It was time to end it. We had a huge election day and everybody is blaming the GOP for everything that is wrong. The thing I think they did screw up is the messaging about why they voted to reopen.

As frustrating as it was to see Ds winning and then just give up, I think this will largely be forgotten by next November. But Schumer is not the guy to lead this fight. Jeffries can be good but he's often got the wrong message. We'll see.

Definitely a bad look, even the way that they answered questions was pathetic. BUT like you said, I think the goals were accomplished. We won elections by A LOT and people are, rightly, blaming GOP. GOP was not moving on healthcare, so, probably right time to reopen. Messaging was bad though.

Well, they had no power, beat the bag out of GOP in the elections, and everybody is blaming Republicans for SNAP and healthcare. So, I think they actually won. Trump would NEVER negotiate, he can't be seen as losing, healthcare was never going to happen.
