I had an absolute blast making her; I learned a ton and improved greatly from my first realistic suit, Crag. I hope to get many years of suiting with her!

She also features eyes by @kazplay.com, with reflective backings, a wolverine resin base by @draconicknight.bsky.social, and her bodysuit was made using @mugiwaracosplay.bsky.social's plantigrade pattern! Her feet also use @lobitoworks.bsky.social's footpaw liner pattern for the inside.

Chromia features vinyl claws, nose, and pawpads, sculpted teeth, a pickable nose with air vents into the snout, an internal fan system with two intake holes by the ears and output through the nose, a fully lined head interior, my adjustable head strap system, and a UV-reactive mohawk!

Hog badgers are also real animals! The Northern Hog Badger comes from southern and eastern Asia, and not much is known about them. LOOK AT THEIR LITTLE FACES!!!

The hog badgers are actually one of the largest of the Mustelids, with some species second only to the Wolverine by weight.

The Aldi purchase limits were due to panic buying for sure. My partner works for them, and his store implemented that policy.

I personally wouldn't be surprised if this outbreak does cause the limit to stay long-term, however.

There are practical reasons for the distinction, though. I can't grind up blue jay feathers for blue paint/dye, for example, but I can make it using indigo or red cabbage plants.

Fun fact about this one: his antlers are real! They are shed antlers that I then treated and sealed. Eddie made them able to be removed for transport and storage if needed. They are just small enough to not be too heavy (there are safe weight limits for fursuit heads)!

I didn't build him with an expression in mind, but halfway through shaving the face I looked at him and went "...... I made a Dad," and that became his personality XD

The handpaws were made using the puffy paw @kloofsuits.bsky.social pattern, heavily modified to accommodate the silicone pads, resin claws, and 5 fingers. Definitely made the perfect look for this boy!
