Got this today - an AI podcast created from my old 2011 white paper/Dummies book "High Performance Computing for Dummies" I did not listen to the whole thing, seems I had to pay something.

Weird, is this were we are headed?

BTW, "book" is available many places, but missing new topics like GPUs!

I was posting an article about DK Panda recently named as ACM Fellow and decided to search "dk panda hpcwire people to watch" to see if we had previous listed him in our PTW. Nope, but what I did learn is that DK now looks remarkably like Dorian Arnold.

3D V-cache score! Ran down to Micro Center near Philly this morning and picked up a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, planning some HPC benchies to compare with 7800X3D, 5800X3D, and 5800X (and maybe some others I have lying around) I'll post soon.

Paid list $479.99 (they only sell in-store, one per customer)

I was finally able to get an image of a drone here in PA. A little fuzzy due to high zoom, but I can make out some details.
