The most chilling line in this pod from @quinnypig.com and @simonwillison.net

"...a security vulnerability where you have to talk for five minutes to get the point across is one that people are gonna fall victim to"

Worth 30 min of your time (on 2x speed :)).

Many developers struggle to find a job and think it's a skill issue.

Sadly, in many cases it's a marketing issue.

The good news is that this takes far less time to fix.

@cloudflare.social pages is my favorite static site hosting platform.

I'm migrating my project off of github pages and aws s3 buckets.

It's just so much easier to manage.

Next time someone asks you what the difference between a terminal emulator and full linux environment is...

Have them try to install claude code on their terminal emulator and see how far they get.

Looking for a fractional technical AI advisor with a 100% Money back guarantee?

- High latency AI responses?
- RAG results not what you expect?
- Agent stuck in a loop?

I can help!

The nomenclature in AI gives me so much joy. 😂

Today I Learned: RAG + Fine-Tuning is a RAFT 🚣🏾

I'm convinced the only reasonable purpose for this is that someone has a really good sense of humor and wanted their CTO to say a bunch of funny words in a single sentence. 😉

Here is why I consider AI agents nothing more than software. I'm talking specifically about the pieces of software that do things in a pipeline to complete a task. Let's take booking a flight to Vancouver as an example task.

It’s about time there was a viable alternative to Rails in the Ruby ecosystem.

It’s not healthy for a programming language to be dominated by a single project.

All opinions benefit from being challenged.

Tomorrow I'll be joining the @massdriver.cloud team to discuss the limitations of GitOps, infrastructure as code, and why writing a bunch of Terraform isn't enough.

There will be some live demos and a Q/A session at the end to dive into the details.

We just completed our first Ruby AI training of 2025 with 14 incredibly talented Ruby engineers over 3 intense days.

The best part is we've open sourced the code for anyone to check out. 🎉

You obviously can't build RAG in Ruby, and definitely not in less than 100 lines of code. And certainly not without a fancy vector database.

Now that that's settled, get back to work!
