We just need to treat it like people that bring playmats with custom art to the table. Just be normal, dude. No one wants to see Liliana and Chandra droing... that. And also obvs your playgroup needs to consent to any custom card use. That's a no brainer

I think the barrier for entry for making custom cards is extremely low, so you'll see the chaff before the wheat. Not defending creeps making titty cards. I'd just hate to see peeps with cool card ideas not put them out there cause they're afraid they'd get labeled as one of "those guys"

For sure! Also, if we're talkin custom ART for existing cards, yeah usually awful. Freemagic is a bane upon the community. I'd love to know more about these bad interactions, tho. I want to make wholesome custom card content and really need to be aware of bad actors

But custom mtg is really cool, you just really need to balance-test and get feedback. I'm actually working on 5 PRECON-level edh decks using 1/5 my own Bioshock custom cards and 4/5 real mtg cards! Balanced for play with each other and easy to learn!

It was still so cool to watch you play. And 17th of 514 is still so nuts!!!
