Saw a Trump sycophant's editorial in the Washington Post and felt inclined to respond. The Post refused my letter to the editor because I used the word "Dictator." As soon as I misspelled the word, they let it though. Democracy does indeed die in darkness--and it' awfully dark at WAPO.

Know someone on Medicare Part D drug plan? Open enrollment is now. I had Aetna the last 3 years--monthly was $20/mo, went to $45/mo last year and deductible doubled. 2026--$95/mo and deductible doubled again. I went to the Medicare site and found ZERO PREMIUM plan--saved $1200 by dumping AETNA.

You know those lurid stories that we've heard for decades about razor blades and other nasty stuff in Halloween candy? The lesson? Only take wrapped treats.
Just thinking--were those stories real--or did corporate America invent them so people wouldn't give away homemade treats?

We can also agree the private sector doesn't do things in the most efficient manner. Think of how much Walmart and Tesla waste on bribing government and on compensation for people like these--money that could be better spent on employee compensation, benefits, clean environment, lower prices...
