It was always a bad analog though.
ETH never had them playing well, had almost zero mitigating circumstances and winning a trophy at spurs is orders of magnitude harder than winning one for United.

I do worry a lot of what is happening is the hierarchy being obstinate about being right about ange being the problem.

You either pay 10-30m for the wonder kids when they are 18-20 with no real experience or you pay 2-7-x that when they get some.

The problem with comping him to Maddison is that Maddison doesn’t do much work off the ball and can’t stay healthy.
