It's also unconstitutional, at least for now. I expect a case will go before SCOTUS before too long, and it'll be interesting to see how Trump's justices will vote.

I'm guessing those "potential solutions" are two weeks off, since that's the "coming attractions" standard Trump set back in 2017.
My guess: there are no Republican solutions, potential or otherwise. I think their actual plan is to sit on their hands and blame someone else.
