Also, if you're having brake issues take a look at the round metal drum on the end of the back cloth beam where the brake cables wrap around. If the cables have worn a groove into it the piece, it needs to be replaced. Just saw this issue on a loom where I teach.

You don't have to take it completely apart for that. Try unhooking the spring assembly from the silver lever. Then just twist one or both of the eye bolts deeper into the piece that connects them. That will put more tension on the wires when you reattach it.

And now you know it's not that hard to correct threading errors. Well done! 👏
