Third game of the year finished and.. Well the gameplay is good I love a good puzzle builder and it really makes you think about where your putting down buildings and managing resources. But, the story the writing is very generic and two-dimensional. Basically a tech-bro utopia fantasy.

Anyone else with a large itch library wanting to liberate it from itch's awful app try this CLI program. I only wish it had a gui. But, maybe that can be a little project for myself.

Second game of the year finished. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. This is my favourite Zelda game, every couple of years I come back to it. And while the 3DS remake has its own quirks I really think its become the definitive version of this game for me.

I dislike how some booktokers/gramers group YA & MG graphic novels into the same list. a lot of these comics don't have crossover in demographics. Because there audiences are at completely different stages of development. It also gives the vibes that comics are inherently childish.

Finished my first game of the new year Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. A classic & one of three retro titles I'm playing right now. I remember having this as a kid but never getting passed the first section. Loved it now I can fully appreciate it as an adult.

Ngl but if Spotify's page match becomes an actual thing I think it will be a game changer. Syncing between audiobooks and paper copies is going to be so helpful for many people.

Exclusive: Spotify is testing a wild new feature that finally syncs paper books with audiobooks
Spotify is working on a new feature called Page Match that meets bibliophiles and audiobook fans in the middle.

I really want to play Hytale but I'm so broke atm. This game looks so fun. How did Riot fail so hard at developing it, it would have been an instant hit if they just stopped with the feature creep and focused on the core gameplay.

Discovered today that I don't like Visual Novels that much. Which sucks cause the next 3-5 games I wanted to knock out of my back catalogue were all visual novel style games. It's a passivity of the gameplay for me I want to play something more active.

My 2026 wish for game developers is for them to actually open up their games on a small screen. If you can't see the ui then no you don't actually offer 480p support. Signed someone who'd actually like to use steam in home streaming more often.

Second book finished of the new year. Cronus is a must read that feels so relevant to our times with the way current politicians are trying to rewrite history. P. Djèlí Clark continues to be one of my favourite SFF writers.

This is why being an Australian book and comic fan sucks sometimes. Like why is the shipping 3x the price of the actual books - which are on sale. 😭 I live regional and its also more expensive in shipping versus metro. You may as well not offer international shipping at this point of unaffordability

Dear booksellers in the know please go to your colleagues and tell them what the wicked book actually contains. Cause I think I just witnessed a bookseller sell wicked to an unsuspecting grandmother. 😭

This is a thousandth reminder wicked the book and wicked the musical are not the same.

One thing I've found helpful about my mini vacay is that it has done wonders for my concentration. Is it perfect no, I'm ND it will never be perfect. But I feel less stressed just not being in a hostile work environment and not surrounded by noise and distractions at home. Kind wish it was longer.

Got to really play the max finale today since it's my day off and it kind of solidified the option I've had for a while that #PokemonGo really needs to up the amount of raid passes and max particles they give players each day

// Spoilers: Citizen Sleeper

I really want a Citizen Sleeper work that explores the Gardener ending and how the AIs of this world's own humanity is shaped by their protocols and their adaptation to a post-corporate life...

My dream house will have a library/reading room with an attached basement book archive/library for all the books and series I don't want on display right now. I would also have to win the lotto to ever have a chance of building such a house, but a girl can have dreams, right?

Sometimes I can look at a book or comic and go "That's clearly your serial numbers filled off fanfiction, and I'm proud of you for doing that."

Started watching Delicious in Dungeon and it's making me so hungry!! I also like how each new recipe incorporates ingredients from the previous one, and they are constantly reusing and replenishing their supplies. Sometimes I find that food manga doesn't focus on this aspect of cooking.

New Review up!! Absolutely adored Citizen Sleeper by Jump Over the Age. Can't wait till the sequel goes on sale again because I just want to jump back into this world full of hope, resilance, and tragedy.

Sometimes you just watch a console showcase and know that some studio paid a hell of a lot of money to be in it - cause seriously, what was that campfire game in the Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase?
