“I hate it too. I wish she’d come home or at least visit on occasions because I miss her deeply and we should blame him.”

Henry continues caressing Dahlia’s hand “But she is grieving in her own way. We just have to hope that she knows we love her and this will always be her home too.”

Henry notices the picture and then clears his throat “Your um, your mom insisted we keep it up because she thinks you wouldn’t want us pretending Charlie didn’t exist.”

Henry clears his throat whilst sitting down “But I can take it away if it’s too difficult for you to look at.”

“I don’t know Darling, I just don’t think I am ever going to get anywhere with finding him, maybe I am just not supposed to find him.”

Henry sighs softly and caresses his wife’s hand before placing a kiss on Dahlia’s hand and takes the newspaper and he reads it “We knew she would make us proud.”

“I am great, Magnolia. I have missed you greatly as has your mother. How have you been?” Henry is already making Mags a cup of tea.

“Your mother and I have been so worried. Are you staying here for a few days? I know that your mom and I will be ecstatic if you do stay for a few days.”

Henry smiles when his wife came in and asked if he is okay. Henry shook his head honestly after placing a kiss on Dahlia’s hand.

“Not entirely dear, I keep thinking I have almost got him but always end up right back at square one. I’m missing something but I just can’t figure out what it is.”

Henry heard the knock and looks at the time because any regular visitors would never visit until after midday and he doesn’t remember purchasing anything for delivery.

“One moment!” Henry’s stern voice echoed through the door as he opens it “Magnolia, I-is that really you? Come in from the cold.”
