Beautiful warm day in Boulder Colorado. Hard to believe that in about 8 hours from now it will start snowing, and will snow all the way into Saturday. Might get about ten inches. I will try to take similar photos tomorrow and on Saturday when it stop snowing.

Gotta love our crazy spring weather!

Day later and we have some light snow dusting on Flat Irons. It will be warmer today and tomorrow, so probably will be gone by tomorrow afternoon.

After watching yet another day of painful market crash, I had to get out and get some fresh air. Thankfully there is plenty of it in Colorado, for now.

Quick trip to RMNP this morning.

Some of Colorado 14ers. As was seen from Hooper. I have not climbed any of these. Maybe one day.

One more view from earlier today. I like the contrast between pine trees and snow. On any other day, you would look at it and like the view but it would not be a good picture. Snow makes all the difference. #Boulder #Colorado

So far we got about 8-10" of snow in Boulder foothills. Here are a few photos from this morning hike. First one is looking down onto Red Rocks and snowy Boulder behind them. Second is, the South West ridge of Mount Sanitas. Random tree. And some one having a blast in the snow. #Colorado

Indian Peaks earlier today. By Saturday morning all of it should be white in snow, well probably not going to see the mountains till Monday when clouds move on and we get some sun back. Btw, there are at least three 13ers here, can you name them?

Indian Peaks earlier this afternoon. Two days before the Arctic Vortex shows up. Not sure if I'll be hiking anywhere this weekend, I guess all depends on the mood for hiking in around 0F weather. #Colorado

Beautiful, bit crispy cold, day in #Boulder #Colorado. Couple more sunny days before the Arctic Vortex shows up at our door, get out and enjoy this weather.

Managed my first Sanitas for the year. Always feels good to do it. Last year I didn't do it as much as in prior years and my fitness level definitely dropped. #Boulder #Colorado

Ice Park in Ouray Colorado is open for business. Even though right now in the sun you can be comfortably fully naked, down in this little canyon ice walls are welcoming its first climbers of this season. One day I might get brave enough to do it myself. Can you spot the climber in last two photos?

Half moon sighting in San Juan Mountains.
Every time we come here, can feel the difference in the air quality, in comparison to the front range. Clear and crisp. #Colorado

Last full moon of the year and crazy windy day!

Switch backs between the top of the Canyon Lands National Park and the White Rim Road. Something like 1000 feet in elevation difference. While the road is in great condition, sharp turns and drop offs can be terrifying if you are not use to it. At this spot I was probably about two thirds up. #Utah

La Sal mountain range reflection in the solar evaporation pond (Potash Ponds) near Moab Utah. I took this road from Moab back to the Dead Horse Point State Park. 4wd is highly recommended as there were a few rough spots and took me probably two and half hours, with a few stops.

Corona Arch. Cactus view. Check out detail on of those needles. I got a few of the fresh ones in my fingers as I moved camera around them, they didn't want to come out, so thin like spider web and have hooks on the ends. #Moab #Utah
