Yeah, recruitment could have been better in the offensive areas, but I think that was driven by PSR and not wanting to sell players. That being said, Gnonto has been wasted this season, and sending out Rambo was daft which aint on recruitment either.

Lol! I'd love to think so! 😂 The NE correspondent on the Guardian is really quite good as well.
As for the thought of our club using the Daily Fail as the newspaper of choice...🤢

I would take this piece with a pinch of salt. Generally, the 49ers have used the Mail for leaks. I'd question anything coming from other media outlets.
FWIW, the jury is out on our owners imho, but I'm still pretty clear the unravelling of this season rests with Farke not the board.

The reality is probably in the middle. The club will have identified targets, but Farke had final sign off. Same with the strategy of targeting more physical players. Farke's failure is agreeing to a strategy & players that he's chooses not to utilise, apart from 45mins against City.

No it shouldn't. The BBC is a public broadcaster. It is supposed to represent the facts, not comment on them. We're not short of Newspapers & other media outlets who can happily share their opinion. I see where you are coming fr9m by imho that's not the BBC role, particularly the News Editor.

It really shouldn't be. We all remember the Anfield win for Marsch and the board the waited too long to get rid which guaranteed relegation. Result shouldn't change the need to replace him.

This is where I am at. Farke is deliberately choosing to put BA in the firing line when there are other players who can come in (James/Gnonto). Its such poor man management. Hes done the same with others, by trying to play them through bad form rather than rest them.

Thought Rory Stewart got it right when he said the bell curve of opinion between Right and Left, hasn't so much shifted as become inverted. Politics seems to have vacated the center ground and as result most view any opinion through this twisted prism of extremes. Its mad.

Ooo! Touchy these Farkesexuals! 😂

Its going to come down to how long we persist with Farke. There is enough in this squad to survive, but not with Farke.
November 1, 2025 at 3:43 PM
They're really NOT the same.
1. Starmer would need a "Falklands moment" & that's highly unlikely.
2. The votes on the right would need to split like SDP/Lab.
3. Thatcher had a clear ideology & campaigned well, this is not Starmer's strength as GE 2024 proved.
Its not over, but we're in the End Game.

Not just for Aaronson, I think for Farke too.
October 25, 2025 at 6:38 PM
"Stunning display" 😂😂😂 Bloody hell, he had a solid game but let's not get carried away. 2nd half display and West Ham's goal showed how rusty he is. Needs a run of games before anyone can properly judge how good/bad he is.

It was the same with Jesse Marsch. Fans would rather bury their head than consider that potentially we may have quite a limited coach. Or they'll blame the board for not making signings without considering if the coach has gotten the maximum out of them.
October 25, 2025 at 6:33 PM
This!!! He's been consistently backed over the last 3 years, yet plays his favourites over better players. Spence & Rambo are 2 example, but there are others. He's also failed to use his wider squad effectively.
A lot of Farke defenders are using the same Jesse Marsch arguments to defend him. 🤦🏻‍♂️
October 19, 2025 at 12:07 PM
Thats right, failing to beat a fellow promotion team with an inferior squad and Parker as their coach is Paraag's fault! 😂🤦🏻‍♂️ Couldn't possibly be the fault of an inept coach who doesn't know how to build attacks or operate his team in a different formation? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Phenomenal interview! Thoroughly enjoyed it! We could really do with a few more like Kinnock in current politics across both the left and right sides of the aisle.
Also great interviewing technique allowing time for Kinnock to give full answers and good lines of questioning.

Yep, its nuts that they can't see the obvious solution... crack down on gun ownership. NZ, UK, Canada, and many other countries all implemented strict gun laws after just one incident. Instead, American Govts seem think "thoughts and prayers" will solve the scenario. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Totally agree. Equally, you can not have the greatest level of education and yet be compassionate, believe in equity, and treat all individuals as equals.
September 24, 2025 at 10:10 PM
I'm totally with you on this, and it's something the established left leaning parties seem to be decidedly lacking in.
The lack of authenticity in politicians over the last few decades is why we hear comments like "they're all the same" or "I don't trust any of them."

I'm really looking forward to seeing this next month when it goes nationwide. It sounds like an amazing film! Very jealous you got to go to the premiere!

Still not good enough from the Govt, imho. Messaging from the Govt has denounced the violence (and threat of violence) whilst still saying they have a right to protest and not calling out the racism. It still feels like pandering, and they are still banging the small boats drum as well.
September 15, 2025 at 7:45 AM
I'm totally with you on this. Starrmer should have made a national address yesterday afternoon/evening. He needs to take control of the narrative, but instead, he's continuing to pander to the Far Right and their supporters.
