Kier recently collaborated with Kleber Mendonça Filho on BACURAU and THE SECRET AGENT, which would be his final film role. In 2022, Kier was nominated for a Film Independent Spirit Award for his stunning, stirring lead role in SWAN SONG.

Kier's striking and singular screen presence made him a memorable part of unique films including BLOOD FOR DRACULA, MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO, JOHNNY MNEMONIC, DANCER IN THE DARK, BLADE, GRINDHOUSE and MELANCHOLIA.

Kier's career spanned seven decades and more than 275 films. He worked with auteurs ranging from Andy Warhol to Dario Argento to Rainer Werner Fassbinder to Werner Herzog, and even made a couple of memorable appearances in music videos for Madonna, Supertramp and Eve.

Cliff is currently the only reggae musician to receive the Order of Merit from Jamaica, the country's highest honor in the arts and sciences. He was inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.

After singing with The Rolling Stones and being covered by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Cliff connected with a new audience in the 1990s, thanks to his cover of "I Can See Clearly Now" from COOL RUNNINGS and the unforgettable "Hakuna Matata" from THE LION KING.

In 1972, Cliff starred in Perry Henzell's THE HARDER THEY COME, an essential Jamaican film with a best-selling soundtrack featuring other reggae innovators like The Maytals and Desmond Dekker.

Cliff's career began in the late 1960s, and within the decade, he was attracting the attention of songwriters like Bob Dylan thanks to the power of protest tracks like "Vietnam."

TOY STORY of course led to an entire franchise, with TOY STORY 5 currently in the works.
