It’s been a few years since I’ve had rats, but I’ve had a rat-shaped hole in my heart ever since. My wife surprised me with a new cage and wonderful pair of boys tonight for my 51st.

Meet Horus and Abaddon, the newest additions to the family. 🐀 ❤️

“Post you from a different era.”

What blows me away about this picture- like, genuinely compels thoughtful reflection beyond just nostalgia and reminiscence- is that my oldest at 15 is only 4 years younger than I was here.

The anthology that includes my Warhammer 40k short story about tankists, "Worm of Valhalla", is finally out - not just for pre-order! The audiobook version is also fun because you get to find out which of the characters are Scottish.

LAST DAY to vote on the first round of books, folks! If you haven't yet, come help kick off the Black Library Readers' Hall of Fame in epic fashion. The turnout and engagement has already well exceeded what I'd hoped, thanks to all who have participated!

The #BlackLibrary Readers' Hall of Fame has kicked off over at Goonhammer, and YOU can have your say in which books are inducted! The first round is all about novels published pre-'99, so we're talking serious old-school vibes. Check it out and get voting!

All of the Warhammer stories I've written!

When I wandered into my local Games Workshop store as a kid more than 20 years ago I'd never have believed I'd get the chance to do this!

It's so fun & there's just as much wonder in the great, grimdark world of Warhammer as when I first encountered it 🖤

Beer killed it, this is a contender for my own Book of the Year. The cat and mouse shadow war he weaves between the Necrons and Astra Militarum is a delight for anyone who knows that wars are won and lost on logistics as much (if not more) as force of arms.

My brother shares a name with the creator of The Walking Dead and Invincible, and we're also in Kentucky. You ought to see the mail he gets.

A decade ago when we bought the local comic store, we gave a half-moment's thought to having a "Special Guest Appearance by Robert Kirkman." 😂
