He/Him
YES.
The whole film is underrated. Except for the Northern Irish accents.
Bourne Identity has direct genetic links to this case chase.

I wish I could surf the high of starting something new all the way!

I’ve wondered about myself, sometimes.
I’m staggeringly bad at finishing /completing, it takes a real effort.

It’s a doozy, sometimes.
The anxiety of starting/completing a task stops you from doing it, even though the stress of not doing the task is worse than the stress of doing the task.
It’s brilliant.

Demand Running and Screaming and Snotting, more like.

I have an end of day calendar pop up and an increasingly terse weekly 1:2:1 reminder from my Line Manager. Can I remember to do my very simple and quick daily task?
Can I fuck.
I once went three months without doing it, hooo boy did I not enjoy catching up.
Zero lessons learned from it, too.

Ballard’s High Rise is an obvious multi-floored analogy. But I liked the unusual take on that with 2019’s The Platform. A lavish spread is delivered to prisoners on a slowly descending platform, the top levels eating first… Grim.

Stressful social situations, snow, huskies - it’s the perfect pre Christmas films warm up film 😃

Watching it right now!

What is it about Australian Woolies that made it work, v British Woolies?

Riddick in Pitch Black: self-serving enough to get you out of ‘the sticky situation’.
@joeabercrombie.com throws up a couple of interesting candidates in The Blade Itself (Jezal dan Luthar and Glokta). Both far enough away from ‘hero’ whilst moving towards ‘hero’. If hero means ‘story-changer’.
