Oh forgot to add that several apartment buildings were also surrounded by sidewalks sheathed in ice. Property management needs to get on that. Sprinkle beet juice and sand. Please.

Also almost died (slipped but didn’t fall) outside the cemetery.
Encountered two blocked-off sidewalks, only one of which was clearly marked as such.
Anyhoo, I survived. Thankfully I still have quick reflexes.

Just walked the 1.7 miles to my dental office. Close to home, I almost died (slipped but did not fall) outside Golf312, whose sidewalk is a slip ‘n’ slide. This is a heavily trafficked path for people trying to access the Montrose Brown Line and buses as well as businesses.
