Finished this cross stitch little bit of #goblincore motivation lmao. For free-handing (idk how else to refer to it in fibercraft) the words, using an old alphabet pattern book, i think i did pretty okay lol.

We each picked out our ornaments for the year for our solstice tree. Mine is the possum, obviously, hubby picked the cowboy chicken, and our little loves gnomes so she "picked" this one (she was too grumpy to pick so we helped)

Moved the baby's toy box under this display thing and it fits perfectly, and since it's a window seat, I hung up the vintage flower string lights i got at an estate sale to make a reading nook. Also birthday cake from me turning 39 lol.

Rearranging the house a little and deep cleaning had me rearrange my uranium glass cabinet (also a few other radioactive glass pieces and a radon face travel alarm clock)

I'm about to have a fit, I s2g. I went to install the software that came with our victrola so I can digitize our huge vinyl and cassette collection, and i kid you not IT'S JUST AN OLD VERSION OF AUDACITY. What kind of bullshit is this? I already have audacity, how tf is this a plug and play thing?!

Trick or treating tonight, our little was michonne from #thewalkingdead, with me and hubby as her "pets". Our chains were carabiner-ed to her back belt loop, essentially acting as a toddler leash that was part of the costumes lol.

Did a zombie themed 5k on Sunday, in my #zombiesrun gear. The way they had the zombies stationed, there was no way to not get tagged by them, so i got got, but I still had fun. I didn't train enough so I'm still recovering 2 days later. The leg pain is better than it was yesterday, though.

Been watching Carl the collector with the little one, I don't normally like modern kids shows, and at first I didn't like the art style, but the writing is so good that it's grown on me. It's about an Autistic raccoon and all of his other neurodivergent friends (1/2)

IT LIVES! I have franken-phoned pieces from two different rotaries, got a pulse to tone converter, and the cheapest voip line possible since nobody supports POTS anymore, then messed with the bias spring AND WE HAVE A WORKING HOME PHONE AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO GIVE UP ON MY DREAM OF HAVING A ROTARY!
