Reviewer with opinions on fiction. Might talk about translation from time to time. A lot of site update talk (probably). Also writes stories.

Reviews and the like (will be) on my site: theannyblog.com (undergoing some construction, excuse the mess)
I also already have some input from how my husband felt when playing as a new player, so it wouldn't be completely taken out of thin air.

Just to make clear, I have played since end of 2013, and played on and off since then. I would obviously end up making some comparisons to then as a returning player after a few years (like 5), but primarily I'd try to write it from how a new player might feel.

I'm literally one hour into character creation and that's all I got so far. And I might change my mind down the line if I decide halfway I don't think Bunny Boy is handsome/cute enough.

I guess @casreadman.bsky.social can poke me once in a while to remind me that I have yet to play the route of my favourite wolf boy.

If you see me start talking about otome games I play it's because I put aside reading about men romancing men in favour of actually romancing men. Time to collect husbands!

Yona of the Dawn! Currently reading that one myself.

It was like 4 or 5 messages explaining how stories connect and that lore varies between different stories.

The example I used was that Jasper's "mundane" world that he says doesn't have magic is technically in the same one as Thadus', which obviously has magic, just different era and location.

We share brain cells. I might forget too until I'm like, "so, you had someone named the same thing as Sig…??" 😂

It's Sigmund now. I have a Sigmund.

I'll accept Siegmund, Sigmond, etc, but now he shares name with Sig.

What I got from reading this: You have a Sigmund too???

I mean, he does end up with people following him around, so they just cook for him.

For being the most discriminated character in the story, he's also the biggest spoiled kid, I guess.

He doesn't know how to cook at all! Temples have staff (super low ranked priestesses and low-ranked apprentices) who cook, so as the High Priest's "apprentice", he wasn't allowed near the kitchen. He never learnt during his travels either, as people are too scared to refuse if he asks for food.

Not me reading these through, get to chores, talk to my husband about the potential answers based on each story and literally talk about Ansy's cooking (or lack thereof) for like 30 minutes straight.

Anyway, I should sit down and start writing answers to these so I can post on my site.
