But the important thing to note is this is not a hardware problem, it all is properly tracked and in the system, and just a software problem. So, they need to make the timing predictions smarter so you don't have to sift through the data yourself.

It's possible to figure out what's going on by manually sifting through the data on transsee.com (because the buses are all tracked, included their schedules so you know what route it ran before), but that is complicated and you really shouldn't have to do that

I see. Yea, at the terminals it does seem like the prediction still gets confused when a bus is waiting in the waiting area. I think the problem here is that the bus on the previous route arrives late (which is can predict), but then the driver has to take a 5 - 10 minute break

Where are you having issues with live timings? Is it on a specific transit app, on the signs at station?

Clarification: There have been more Line 1 incidents this winter so far than this summer, but thankfully most have been shorter than 30 minutes and don't require R1.

OC definitely should communicate their reliability stats in a more up-to-date manner and explain why an incident occurred

It's absolutely not a downward trend.

There are interim measures, such as temporary speed restrictions, that need to be resolved (and is something we all should fight for). But with them, Line 1 has been able to become a reliable train

Pretending the train is unreliable is a big distraction

I don't think Sutcliffe will drop out. He's been running paid ads in the past few weeks. I think both will run

he's telling people in person (well, implying it)

Tim Tierney is running for mayor himself. It's for his own campaign
