No a hundred percent yeah obvs I mean a lot of religious people want me dead too and that sucks, I more meant generally it's kinda rough to have people on your side politically denegrete your beliefs (which again both theists and atheists do and they shouldn't)

I think there's an impulse among leftist theists to have overly defensive reactions cause a lot of atheists are actively antitheist and disparage our beliefs

not saying that's a good or bad thing, it's definitely something I've struggled against
