The only thing at their disposal if the administration ignores the law is impeachment. They know impeachment will lead to top down electoral losses, but they may be getting to the point where that’s the only thing that can save the GOP from itself.

Geneva convention states that war does not need to be legally declared for an act of war (armed conflict) to take place, and therefor there is no legal loophole for it not being a war crime.
December 4, 2025 at 7:42 PM
You don’t need to be at war to commit a war crime. Acting in an armed conflict is enough to allow the possibility of war crime under the Geneva conventions.

You don’t have to be at war to be charged with a war crime.

They aren’t sophisticated enough to pull off anything that complex.

Judging Trump and Biden on different curves seems a *little* unfair. Joe would have gotten roasted for this.
December 3, 2025 at 12:03 AM
Because the trump accounts aren’t limited by need or income. Anyone can access them, so the main people that will access them will be the already wealthy and connected. Poor people who are struggling to get by won’t know how or even to seek them.

Yes, BUT remember that for all their authoritarian desires, they’re also really bad at it, because they’re dumb.

This is a crazy big deal and getting remarkable little media coverage.

A) no they are not finding that. There are boomerang hires happening all over the place because AI doesn’t do what they thought it did.
B) saying this as a good thing is crazy
C) not getting ahead of the labor issues of AI will create more problems in the future.

He effed up hard, because his stalling created momentum that carried into the Republican caucus. They’re now worried that there may be enough republicans joining in that they’ll have a veto-proof majority.

It’s bad, but it’s available.

Needs to be limited to 20x the LOWEST employee based on a 40 hour work week. If you’re paying minimum wage, you should be limited in what you can be paid, including benefits and stock options.

Though his pardoning of his co defendants in GA certainly behaves like a RICO prosecution waiting to happen.
November 13, 2025 at 4:41 PM
RICO is HARD to get any kind of prosecution without a REALLY hard shut and close case. Trump has been remarkably good at avoiding direct implication and has had Supreme Court protection when it breaks through.

Usually the only charges to be made against people in organized crime and ‘tis circles is ancillary like fraud and tax evasion. Sound familiar?

No one supports it. This is one thing Americans agree on, that a 50 year mortgage is a bad idea.

Then to throw an election, USPS could be tampered with. That doesn’t make sense, it just changes the election date in mail-by-vote states.

I’ve seen some attempted hype for the movie, but had no idea it released. I feel
Like they didn’t know how to market the movie, so they just didn’t.

I’m not arguing against what should be, I am arguing that this SC won’t side with that whatsoever. If you bring up more challenges, they’ll rule against them. Challenge, sure. But don’t get your hopes up. Also recognize that a challenge could make things worse for a long time.
