Really?!? I was considering the A290 (ie Renault Five), but both of the things you mentioned are a deal-breaker for me too. Hopefully creep can also be turned off via an OTA update. 😬

Assume that’s because less taxes (for road maintenance) being collected through buying less fuel.
A couple of states in Australia have introduced a road user charge for EVs (eg x cents/km) for that reason.
