9S is accompanying as a locksmith to dismantle traps and find the best path down the dungeon.
A2, Elf/Beast was also previously a dungeon surveyor until reported KIA

Kaine is the one who knows monster cuisine as she’s lived in the dungeon for a long time (shunned away from general townsfolk due to her Beast-man curse+extra stuff)
Emil found in a more isolated/unexplored part of the dungeon, possibly experimented on for dark magic purposes.
