We've seen a similar increase in videos of 'incredible phenomenon' after the introduction of user accessible AI prompts.

A new scam email in the inbox today - another email scam that attempts to panic recipients with unexpected charges into phoning a scam number. Notice how the number appears TWICE on the email. Because that's the crux of the scam.

There's been a big surge in fake "missed delivery" email scams linking to spoof websites - in fact many of these websites are attempting to install malware instead of the typical phishing objective of stealing user data.

If you're in the UK, beware of emails (below) purporting to come from the UK government about a survey about the recent test of the emergency alert system. It's a malware scam that tricks recipients into running malicious code on their computers.
