The west missed the opportunity to learn the real lessons of WWII. We chose to demonize #Hitler and the #Nazis rather than understand why people would ever choose to follow such disgusting ideologies. We treated it as an aberration rather than see that it was people like us who made it happen.

It would be a mistake to try to find the silver lining of any #Trump and #MAGA initiatives or policies because 1) you empower and normalize fascism and 2) he’ll always do things his way, so even if the end might be desirable you end up with other things you do not support.
