I'm doubtful that an H/X pipe at the rear of the car would do much for scavenging, esp if you already have one near the front. My uneducated guess is that it's probably just for acoustics - lighter than a full muffler but dampens the noise a bit.

I was debating my pad choices for next season - ran Hawk HP+ before but they got punishing when I removed ABS. Next season is probably AutoX only so I'm thinking just something mild like HPS. I have Dynalite fronts and NB Sport rears so not a lot of options it feels like lol
