My Elgato CamLink died unexpectedly last night. I had a workaround going where I could use the USB UVC, but it tends to last about 30 minutes before it overheats the camera and shuts down.
I've got another cheaper capture card coming in this weekend, but for now - streams will be sans camera.

1) My DSLR's Micro-HDMI cable has been on its last legs for months.
2) I got a new camera 'boom' for my DSLR today.
Ergo...
3) I now have a new Micro-HDMI cable on the way because I 'bumped' it the wrong way.
... sigh. lol

Fallout held for about an hour, and then the servers refused to connect. We pivoted over to Palworld, and it was fun to be able to show it off to people!

There is severe lack of maker spaces around my small town.
Granted, there's some GREAT ones up in Nashville, but having to drive (potentially) an hour one way really kills the mojo to try and find/join one

New Fallout Expansion drops tomorrow and I'm REALLY excited for it. A few quality of life features, a brand new map expansion to the west... and the Bounty Hunting mechanic (we tested this in the PTS and it was hella fun).

Two solid days of shopping for the kids, each other, and our families and @operaticplum.bsky.social and I are basically shopped out. BUT, it's the earliest we've been "done" with Christmas, so... it's not all bad.

I can officially change the heating element in my dryer:
1) Without needing to see the YouTube video again
2) In about 30-45 minutes
3) Basically from memory
... I'm not sure if that's a good thing (because I'm pretty adept at it) or a bad thing (because this make thrice in as many years)

My character's locked and loaded and I'm VERY excited to join such an amazing group. LET'S GOOOO!
I've been playing through Outer Worlds 2 and thoroughly enjoying it.
There are multiple paths through each section. Stealth? Full Force? Silver Tongue? All viable options to get through an area.
It runs fine on my machine, but I dread the day I need to stream it 😬

Hello - I'm alive!
The last two weeks have been incredibly busy with a project at work that's taken most of my brainpower and willpower. I've had to cancel streams, been very quiet on social media... not going to lie, it's been stressful.

I had a day off of work yesterday and I'm finally able to start moving back to my normal duties and stuff.
