Took a nice day drive on the Pony Express Trail today since we don't celebrate this holiday. It was beautiful! We counted 9 different desert animals, 3 rusted-out vehicles, 2 hills have eyes ghost towns and 0 UFO's on our night drive back. Stopped at the casino buffet, lost 20 bucks.

As it gets chillier I am missing the summer evening hikes in the deserts of Utah. I hibernate so I will have about 0 pictures of a Utah winter.

It is Native American Heritage Month. I am grateful my ancestors have instilled a sense of pride and perseverance and resilience. Also an unfortunate and terrible case of running on NdN time.
Considering the month is half over I did not escape the curse here either.
