Today was a great day at Art League Houston. I taught two hand embroidery workshops to the Healing Arts community. It was a wonderful opportunity to use creativity in such emotionally trying times. Giving others tools to process their emotions with art is very rewarding.

Our first sewing workshop at Parker Williams Library was a huge hit! Participants learned all about their sewing machines and how to get started sewing.

First time trying snow dyeing! I'm taking advantage of arare occurrence of snow in Pearland Texas. I'm using a shoe rack to support the fabric as it dyes. The drips from the shelf above will add color to the fabric below. 🤞🏾
