Pretty solid deal for both sides. Fries gets 35m fully guaranteed paid to him in the first 2 years. In 2027 he gets another 17.5m if he stays, but Vikings could cut him before 03/15 and take on just 12m in dead money. Pretty much a 2 year deal with three 17.5m option years at the end.

Tesla stock price plummets, the very next day the president who got $200m+ from the Tesla CEO for his campaign, is on TV promoting said Tesla vehicles, including saying he is buying one. Nothing to see here, 100% just a coincidence.

Fields for 30m guaranteed and 40m total, but Darnold only got 55m guaranteed and 100m total? Something is broken with the QB market. A steal for the Seahawks at this point, especially since the thought is Geno's extension will be 40mAPY at least.

This is the way. Sign a vet aging DT like Allen or Jarrett and then draft a DT early. Added bonus is Allen/Jarrett will not count in the comp pick formula.
Per colleague Jeremy Fowler, free agent DT Jonathan Allen plans to visit the Vikings. Allen overlapped in Washington with Vikings HC Kevin O'Connell when O'Connell was an assistant coach there.
