This is such a weird flex (?) I don't really know where to begin.

This is wild. A challenge to Halligan's appointment was 100% foreseeable (given what happened in August w/ Habba in NJ).

AG Pam Bondi could've avoided a lot of this by naming Halligan a "Special Attorney" when she was installed. But nobody at DOJ thought to have a Plan "B" until it was too late.

One reason to read about Pauli Murray today (or to watch the documentary "My Name is Pauli Murray") is because the federal government is actively trying to suppress the story of Pauli Murray's life and work.

Healthcare premiums skyrocketing, but endless money to pay for troops to guard the American Enterprise Institute at 830AM on a Thursday morning. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸🦅

And definitely casts this "advice" to a "friend" in a different light.

So I’m on a plane and can’t get on Westlaw. But this seems weird and “definitely-not-AI-looking citation” format. Any bets that no such thing appears at page 11 of 161 F3d?

Judge Smith evidently not a László Krasznahorkai fan.

In retrospect, perhaps there were clues.

Notable absence of verbs here . . .

Really excited to attend this Pauli Murray event at @dukelaw.bsky.social tomorrow night. If you're in the Durham area, worth checking out!

Not to be pedantic (okay, I am), but this is not hearsay. These are not out of court statements introduced in court to prove the matter asserted.

Something, something, . . . second time as farce.

The DOJ told UVA’s former President, Jim Ryan, that if he didn’t resign, they would “bleed UVA white.”

An apt phrase. It seems the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division has prioritized perceived discrimination against white people about all else. We should be clear-eyed about that. That’s their #1 priority.

John Yoo walked so these OLC lawyers could run (read: murder non-combatants in international waters).

You should probably delete this since you changed the article’s headline from “Overstreet Wins” to “Overstreet Leading” …

Yeah, she’s slightly ahead. But this race seems way closer than the numbers in your article?

Curious why your vote tallies look so different than the AJC and other local news sources?
November 5, 2025 at 4:20 AM
Okay, someone who understands Atlanta voting, can someone explain what the heck is going on? These are just totally different sets of numbers in the City Council President race?

Our couple’s costume this year is: “Assault with a deli weapon.”

Happy Halloween to everyone except ICE, the National Guard, and other federal law enforcement occupying our city. #FreeDC

This would be a remarkable verdict anywhere, but this was a federal jury in the WDLA (one of the reddest parts of the country and ground zero for immigration detention in the U.S.).

The UVA deal is linked below. I'll have more later, but it seems like this clause here (UVA agreeing to "internally" accept this really dubious DOJ guidance) as is the critical part.

The top story on FoxNews.com right now is an article about a tweet (not linked, weirdly) from a TPUSA contributor. The tweet itself? It shows video of NYC protestors holding signs of Eisenhower, MLK, Superman, Josephine Baker, and Churchill (and some Democratic politicians) with the word "ANTIFA."
