This is the post. There are only about 50 million foreign-born people in the US. Second-gen (natural born citizens) is about another 50 million. They want to deport all of those people.

Bsky says otherwise.

So. Trollfarm or just a dipshit?

WTF is this bot shit? Look, I'm enough of a realist that I come off as a doomer, but I would never imply that we shouldn't bother voting at all. That's apathy propaganda, and it's aimed squarely at the people most likely to buy into it.

Speaking of rather shocking FB things.

2016, FTR. And though it's crystal clear that sexism is a factor, it's also fascinating that a bunch of Latino men who voted for Clinton didn't vote for Harris. And it's not necessarily racism, because their numbers were more or less the same for Obama.

Jesus Christ. Can we please dispense with the endless hot takes about why Trump won twice but lost to Biden? It's the easiest fucking thing in the universe to figure out.
January 21, 2026 at 8:53 PM
Nope.
January 19, 2026 at 5:51 PM
WTF is that one on the lower left? How do you even get through that without sobbing?

We have some doozies here, too, though, and most of them also involve hills with a 15-20% grade. Absolutely delightful when we get our annual ice storms.
January 19, 2026 at 5:05 PM
Unfortunately, even those ways wouldn't help.
January 19, 2026 at 4:46 PM
LOL. Probably the first time I've ever heard that facts have a conservative bias.
January 15, 2026 at 3:42 AM
There's a bit of one, but not as pronounced as the split with women. We're also not a very educated country to begin with. Only 44% of voters have a Bachelor's or more.

A clip from an excellent post by Ben Leeds Carson on FB.

It's also, however, important to remember that impeachment/removal alone won't save us, because it's evil all the way down. It could even make things worse, because of the (false) perception that Vance isn't as bad, which may make some midterm voters less motivated to get out to the polls.
January 10, 2026 at 2:16 PM
Seriously, this is *hysterical.*
January 6, 2026 at 5:25 AM
Allow me to crush it again.
January 5, 2026 at 2:47 AM
This is probably closer to the real end result.
December 22, 2025 at 8:05 PM
This is why we can't have nice things. And by "nice things," I mean a country that isn't run by absolute monsters.

This was a comment on a post about the rise in bullying of queer children, btw. There were also several other comments defending bullying, as a way to "toughen up" "soft" kids. Barf.

Exhibit A: Big, two-story family room primarily used as a giant toy box/play space for my daughter.

If you see this, I IMPLORE you to post a picture from whatever device you're using without explanation.

One of our many bookshelves. No plants because cats and toddler, but pretty much everything else. We also have an entire box of Cat5 cable in our garage. It has a sticker on it that says "Recommended for the INTERNET!"

This is me at 15. #ImAChild

Not that that mattered to the men who took advantage of me at that age and earlier. I started developing in 4th grade, and was very socially awkward and effectively feral, thanks to neglectful parents. That made it open season on me.

This is a weird chart. Harris lost the most, relative to Biden, among X and Zoomer *women.* The even weirder part is that Hillary lost huge percentages, compared to Obama, among men. So what was different between Harris and Obama that so many women didn't like?
November 6, 2025 at 2:07 PM
I think there are two things contributing: The loss of a chunk of our generation's share of queer men to AIDS (mostly affected late Boomers, but we lost many, too.) And also a lot of men bitter that their moms worked. The gender gap is pretty huge in both X and Boomers.
