I couldn't get "OpenGPT" (4-bit quantized) to respond sanely. It was chatty, broke Markdown formatting, and often ended with long chains of gibberish tokens. I used a basic Fibonacci prompt with a custom code execution tool. I tried the following SOTA models instead (spoiler: Qwen3 won) 🧵

Daredevil is depressing because Kingpin is weirdly similar to the last few months of Trump, but they shot it like a year ago, so I think it's just a coincidence because they're both super villains

With the Augment Code on @jetbrains.com and Junie on the horizon I'm in the process of switching to @webstorm.jetbrains.com. But the biggest surprise of the week was Fleet ❤️🔥 I've seen so many bad reviews but it's everything I ever wanted from Code! If VS gets on your nerves it's worth a try
A week later I still love dropping into Codespaces for random shit like fixes to Obsidian plugins. But I'm surprised how often I lose my terminal connection inside. It also doesn't warn me before accidentally closing my broswer tab vs editor pane
I know it's stupid but sometimes I don't PR just because I don't want to clone etc. Lately I've been opening a repo into GitHub.dev to make easy fixes then jumping straight into Codespace when necessary. And @github.com has made the flow between sites completely seamless. It's 🔥🔥🔥

There's a mismatch between public perception of what AI is, what it's good at, and what's being done to improve it. My own brother working in DS with high security clearance didn't believe me that SOTA LLMs train on largely synthetic data. TLDR "next word predictors" memorize vs "do" math
