I've used a white gel pen occasionally which isn't the best but they're cheap and usually good enough for me to get to the scan/photo stage. But I wouldn't mind something nicer

Yeah I can definitely get that. But I also don't think "worth" has to be a defined thing, and "sharing" can be a lot of different things. Would it bring you joy to make it in a more complete form for yourself? Or to share with one or two close friends? Then maybe that's "worth it." Idk!

Yeah wow. really hard to read this as anything other than "one or two senior people at Valve just don't approve of the content of this game due to their personal views and are using their 'flat' structure to obfuscate responsibility for that censorship."

The safety stuff was pure evil but was also expected from the structure of the interview. This part, and the way he enthusiastically launched into it basically unprompted, really knocked me flat on my ass

Yeah it feels like (though I say it as a transplant myself) they are targeting people who moved here, or tourists, and trying to sell them the idea that this is part of an authentic NYC identity. I got no clue if they know how corny it looks to most of us though

I was seeing online that apparently switch 2 encrypts games prior to launch date and the console's new enough that nobody's really cracked that yet. So even though some people have reported early copies they're useless for leaks.

The reasoning of "we need to monetize the non-subscribers and drive them to subscribe" > "put obtrusive, ugly and obnoxious ads everywhere you can't even dismiss" just leads to sites feeling so cheap and hostile. Why would I give you money to subscribe if you present yourself like a trashy tabloid?

I am so conflicted because there's a part of me that recognizes "the way technology worked 20 years ago was better for society" is a regressive impulse. However there is a louder part that says actually no. It is Worse now, rationally and objectively.
