I think create-react-app was pretty decent at ease of updating but you sacrifice flexibility of doing anything the template allows.
CRA allowed you to eject and do those things but you sacrificed the ease of updating the template.

I got quite a few of these values mapped to enums with byte values and display text strings. Rust macros makes this pretty painless btw

Imagine something like database migrations but for project template updates.
Handling/balancing flexibility is already a challenge and this wouldn't help but codifying changes that can be applied would be amazing.

Reading through JDXI's midi specification, translating that into data (structs, enums, consts), designing the API, implementing everything...
Honestly though writing some scratch code using the library and seeing the JDXI react is what I'm really excited for 😍
