I divide my steam library into software whose primary interactive chapter unit is either "match," "level," "zone," or "decision tree" but all nearly all of my play history fits into those first two categories and I wish I could filter new releases for those that fit into them.

the other week I had a classmate totally go glazed eye blorbo worship about how good n meaningful Freiren was to him and I was like darn it I wish I still felt that passionately nerdy about something. then Princess Bubblegum landed in the fortnite shop the next day and I was like oh wait yeah lmao

I think the back half of season 1 of F&C proved this shit is just good-ass comic book storytelling, the depths of the emotional resonance drawn from lore complexity were staggering. these days I can say they stuck the landing better than hellboy and u know it takes a lot for me to say that.
