An early morning walk with the dog led me past the fire in Exeter city centre. Thankfully it was under control pretty quickly, no one was hurt and it didn't make it to St Nicholas Priory

The wettest sloppiest sloshy slappin footsteps you've ever freakin heard 👾

4/5 viewers aged 18-25 yrs use subtitles/closed captions. It helps when distractions & devices compete for attention 📱💻

Stranger Things did this well, understanding audience & context. The Media Act 2024 will give us more

Well the 4th verse of 'We three Kings of Orient are' takes a dark turn.

Sighing, bleeding, dying, sealed in the stone-cold tomb.

Great Nativity at Exeter Cathedral though 🌟🦙

It's that time of year when RNID people from across the country travel to meet up for our charity summit. Even as a fully remote org we value meeting up 3 times a year.

We're going to share, learn and celebrate....and wear our Christmas jumpers! 🎅🎄

Imagine climbing Mount Everest 🏔️

Now imagine doing it as a deaf mountaineer 🤯

Michael Woods highlights the difficulties of navigation when needing to sign in British Sign Language during foggy conditions or using a headlamp.

Start the week the right way. Want to make online meetings more accessible and inclusive for those of us who are deaf or have hearing loss?

Here's something to help. Mute when not speaking and only one person speaking at a time are the biggies. More tips here 👇

“It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging."

Using technology to make sport more accessible and inclusive. Award winning work by Sela, CuteCircuit, and RNID that makes a difference 🏆

Statement from the President- elect. Not unexpected, but 'one or two' conflicts of interest there I'd say. On a similar note, Winter is coming ❄️

People: Children's plays need to be more accessible

English Touring Opera: Hold my apple juice

(When touring the country doing opera in theatres the ETO also put on musicals for children in local libraries with captions and British Sign Language) #accessibility

The Northern Lights will be visible across the UK tonight! Lots of clear skies as well.

Get out there & take that rubbish photo with your phone

Great for a geo-nerd like me. Brought to you courtesy of the glaciers, rock formations and deltas in USA, Iceland, Argentina, Italy and New Zealand.

Solar activity is the strongest for 23 years. This means continuing increased chance of seeing the Northern Lights for the foreseeable future.

Every night could be an Aurora Borealis night.....if the rain ever stops! 🌧️☔

Fact: More than 30% of men are too embarrassed to wear a hearing aid.

Chris Packham (fellow Menieres sufferer) on the BBC One Show earlier talking about the perceived stigma of wearing hearing aids.

Vanity certainly kept me in silence for many years #deafness #inclusion

A dedicated special zone for the deaf community and Chris Martin signing the first part of 'Something Just Like This'.

Whether you like them or not, Coldplay have to be lauded for their inclusivity. Can't imagine the Gallagher brothers doing this.
