Showed the 3yr old neighbor how to carve a Jack-O-Lantern this evening, even though she was totally disgusted by the sliminess of pumpkin guts, lol. Did not want to do any additional carving to get rid of the sharpie lines and declared it DONE! (as long as she's happy, ok then!)

Wild turkeys roost in trees. When doing so at sunset, they often fly *straight up* from the ground (as a helicopter can), hauling their 20lb selves up and onto the branches. Trippy to see!

I live within the yellow circle. The yellow line is the Mayacama Mtn Range, so no Tsunami here in #LakeCountyCA. But, those river watersheds in Sonoma/Napa/Bay Area? Hope all are vigilant this night!

#SafeandSane sure puts out a lot of smoke and particulates. And noise. At least this neighbor has a water hose and soaked his yard/wood fence, puts spent ones in a bucket of water, and is fire safe. It's just the pyrotechnics that are... loud and stinky.
