Our kids are pretty much all 3 hours ahead of us in the US, so we'll just celebrate New Years online with them, and go to bed at our normal time. 😀

When we lost our pups, we did the same. It helped both the shelter and us, because seeing pup things around the house all the time would just keep alive the pain of losing them.

I recently installed Linux on my new computer to help me avoid it as much as possible. AI is getting attached to pretty much *everything* these days. (Probably to facilitate clandestine data gathering.)
