Why would Ukraine be different from Palestine? Even his involvement in the Iran-Israel war consisted of him announcing when his ally should stop, rather than negotiating Netanyahus position alot. And his scepticism towards Ukraine was more than evident.

Mit sinkender Parteienbindung und Pluralisierung der Parteienlandschaft spielt das eine geringere Rolle, aber ändert sich dadurch auch das Demokratieverständnis? Und was verschiebt sich wenn der Staat zunehmend Initiativen ohne direkten Parteienbezug fördert?

But so far, being anti-Trump looks like the better strategy than being a Democrat adopting parts of Trump's platform. Curious to see if that holds up for former Trump-voters as well.

Proposition 50, never likely to fail (good polls, support by all major Democratic actors in overwhelmingly Democratic state) can be read like this, too: A strong majority shows Democratic base can be mobilized by clear anti-Trump messaging.

Moderates like Mikie Sherrill and Abigail Spanberger can win in States that might lean Democratic, but elected Republican governors in 2013 (New Jersey) and 2021 (Virginia), especially when they run against candidates seen as radical and aligned with unpopular administration.
