I got these texts from my sister this morning. This is the REALITY of SNAP and LIHEAP cuts. Also, Medicaid not covering her glucose control meds, or enough glucose test strips for her to control her diabetes.

Just for kicks, I decided to see if Argentina had a program similar to SNAP. Answer, yes AND it's AUTOMATIC. I'm still trying to understand relative income/benefit/food cost levels but expect a thread on this topic.

So after Saturday's dog attack, I thought my Gus was ok. A few minutes ago he started screaming in pain for no apparent reason. I'm going to need help with an emergency Vet visit tomorrow. The office visit is $79, x-rays for 2 views are 250, PayPal.me/Starbroken and comment Gus

That sucks. It was really the only idea I had for immune issues. My Whiskey has FSH but hers is a VERY mild case. There's been a couple times (stress related) I thought we were going to lose her.

From "Find Her, Keep Her" a really well written Sapphic Suspense novel by Kimberly Amato. It was a nice diversion from the *everything* going on, and if you enjoy the genre, I totally recommend it.
